Zach Oshinbanjo

One thing I know for sure, I am glad that Zachary Oshinbanjo decided to make KC his home and build his company.

Zachary was an operations specialist with the US Army. When he got out, he encountered significant difficulties and persistent frustration when attempting to transition into the civilian workforce, including 350 applications to land a job.

This experience and guidance from the Department of Labor and Veteran Affairs launched Zachary’s entrepreneurial journey. He launched Vetelligence in the summer of 2021 with a mission to ensure the employment and service of military members after service.

His platform is strategically crafted to eliminate obstacles, unlock opportunities, and foster meaningful connections. As the landscape of talent acquisition continues to evolve, they possess the tools and expertise to empower employers in making data-driven hiring decisions. You don't have to be a recruiting expert to envision a revamped hiring process; all you need is a genuine commitment to enhancing the experience for all involved parties.

Zach participated in the Pathfinder Program through Pipeline Entrepreneurial Fellowship from Jan 22 to May 23, was chosen as a top 10 startup to watch in 2022 by KC Inno, and most recently was selected to a leading regional accelerator NMotion in May.

He also works with Children’s Mercy Kansas City as a contract specialist, focused on reviewing customer contract terms and conditions to balance risk appetite with commercial objectives.

Zach is an extraordinary force in the realm of social change and empowerment. His resilience and dedication are just a few of the things that I am confident will lead to his continued success and unwavering passion for fostering social welfare, propelling economic development, and nurturing mental health.
