Founded by Deb Tompkins North, YES! Athletics is a sporting goods company by women for women.

Yes! Athletics was born during Deb’s wrestling gear shopping trip with her youngest daughter Annie; she started to notice that nobody was making wrestling shoes specifically for girls. So, YES! Athletics is built to empower young female athletes by filling the gap in sporting goods for girls in sports.

From its founding Yes! Athletics has lived by its mission: empowering girls to say Yes! to scary things.  They encourage females to maintain their identity while participating in non-traditional sports.

By offering athletic shoes in feminine styles and colors, Yes! Athletics helps females feel welcome and recognized in traditionally male sports such as wrestling.

Youth girls participating in traditionally male sports are both vulnerable and brave. Yes! Athletics supports this vulnerability and bravery with sporting goods in feminine styles and colors specifically designed and manufactured for girls with no size conversion needed.  Girls should not be limited in sports by limited options!

Yes! Athletics has partnered with many organizations, including Beat The Streets, Special Olympics Kansas, Wrestle Like a Girl, and more.
