Urban Hikes Kansas City

Lisa Peña started Urban Hikes Kansas City back in June 2019.

Urban Hikes KC offers 3–5-mile group urban hikes in downtown KCMO, KCK, and the Plaza, in English or Spanish.

They help hikers learn about the history of KC, enjoy all kinds of street art, walk over hidden bridges and alleys, connect with others, and get exercise! In addition, the hike contains Instagramable spots, history, and hidden Kansas City gems.

They offer public hiking tours, private hikes for families and groups, or team building in the workplace.

Some specific hikes include Crossroads Westside Hike, Strawberry Hill and Downtown KCK Hike, Wine and Cheese Hike, and their Artful KC Streetcar Urban Hike, which includes art galleries and boutique hotels. They also do a seasonal Plaza Lights & Crestwood Hike, which contains stories of the historical segregation in Kansas City and ends with the Plaza Lights is also really popular around the holidays.

These hikes are not just for tourists; it is an excellent way for local residents to learn more about our great city.

Visit Urban Hikes KC’s website to learn more or book a hike with Lisa or her team.
