InnovateHER KC

InnovateHER KC is a strong and dynamic community that connects, empowers, and supports women leaders in Kansas City. Its mission is deeply rooted in the importance of providing inclusive support to all women, promoting diversity, and advancing women’s professional goals.
 
The group is over 5,000 members and comprises entrepreneurs, politicians, educators, activists, advocates, healthcare professionals, designers, technologists, and academics.
 
Lauren Conaway and the team always want to evolve and support their members.
 
Their most significant initiative is to roll out the “ConnectHER Database,” a tool to connect their members with the opportunities they’ve been looking for. They will ask members who fill out a profile about their interests, skills, and what kind of opportunities they’re open to, i.e. (running for office, board service, speaking engagements, jobs, etc.) and then help match them with resources, available positions, and people that can help them achieve their goals.
