Caroline Markel Hammond

Bestselling author, entrepreneur, award winner, podcast host, speaker, and maybe most importantly, advocate for domestic violence.

Caroline Markel Hammond puts all her effort into being a change for people worldwide with her work at her two organizations, Safe In Harm's Way Foundation, Inc and Epizon Strategy Solutions.

Before starting those organizations, Caroline spent her career as top performing sales and training professional promoting billion-dollar brands for Fortune 500 companies, thriving within sales, human resources, training, and development.

In 2016, Caroline started Safe in Harm’s way with a mission to change the world for those recovering from domestic violence. It’s a multimedia platform assisting abused women with safe housing, navigating bureaucracy, and recovery after leaving an abuser.
They are 100% online, with 58% of the population worldwide facing relationship toxicity; Safe In Harm’s Way was designed to be there for people who need to find ideas for community, healing, and safety.

They recently partnered with Domesticshelters.org, Out of Home Advertising Association of America, and Neon to create “The Last I’m Sorry” Campaign. It is an educational platform for people to navigate toxicity in their relationships.  The effort premiered on billboards in Times Square and then across the nation.

Caroline also runs Epizon Strategy Solutions, a boutique training and policy implementation company disrupting complacency in the workforce as it relates to domestic violence.

They are providing corporate education needed to disrupt complacency and implement the key insights which can take company culture, reputation, safety, and profitability to levels that far exceed their peer organizations. In addition, they can provide consulting, onsite and virtual options, individual coaching, management, executive coaching, and keynote speaking programs about overcoming adversity.

Caroline is a three-time bestselling author, DomesticShelters.org Purple Ribbon Award Winner 2021, Boston Scientific’s Global Volunteer of the Year 2020, and Vera Bradley’s Women Award Winner 2020.

She has been featured on multiple tv shows, publications, and podcasts as an advocate for survivors of domestic violence and overcoming adversity.

She also hosts a podcast, Intentionally Fearless. Her guest’s journey allows the listener to feel less alone on their own pathway, with a guidebook and resources in every episode.

Caroline’s passion and advocacy will continue to have a considerable impact, not only in KC but around the world. I look forward to supporting her throughout her journey; I know her mission will change lives.
