Matt DeCoursey

Matt DeCoursey said something that has stuck with me since we met a few weeks ago.

He mentioned some of the best advice he got was, “What’s easier, climbing to the top of the mountain by yourself or asking those at the top to help pull you up.” What I love about Matt is that he might ask for a hand, but he will always be there to help others up that mountain as well.  He has a strong passion for assisting people to become the best versions of themselves.

Sitting down with him, I could see his passion for Kansas City, helping the community, and putting in the effort to help other entrepreneurs on their journey. The openness and transparency he spoke with about his journey were so refreshing. His passion for helping others is evident when you look at how he helped his employees and the people in Cebu City, Philippines, when a super typhoon hit in December of 2021. He sent money, water, food, and other disaster relief items to his team and helped raise over $25K in donations for relief efforts.

If you are unfamiliar with Matt, he is the Co-Founder/CEO of Full Scale, the Founder/CEO of GigaBook, and the Founder and one of the hosts of the Startup Hustle Podcast.

Full Scale is a tech services company that helps businesses build teams of software engineers. Their main goal is to make finding and retaining highly experienced software engineers fast, easy, and affordable.
