Since 1967 Job One has been a leader in providing employment opportunities and community services for individuals with disabilities. They are constantly evolving to expand job choices and support people with disabilities in their efforts to achieve new levels of personal success.
Job One has envisioned a world where people with disabilities actively participate in the labor force.

Their services are broken into four categories: Job One Careers, Community-Based Day Services, AbilityOne, and Packaging & Assembly.
They offer these services for adults with disabilities across Jackson, Clay, Platte, Cass, Lafayette counties, and the Kansas City Metropolitan area.
The Job One Careers team works with Vocational Rehabilitation and the Missouri Department of Mental Health to focus on serving those who wish to be more integrated into the community and earn competitive wages alongside non-disabled peers. This team focuses on Customized Employment opportunities, with the belief that everyone has a place, purpose, and genius within them.
Job One Careers Community-Based Day Services (CBDS) offer a solution unlike any other in the region. This service is designed to fill a gap in the employment continuum and provide better access to community integration and improved job opportunities.
Job One’s partnership with the federal AbilityOne program, they can offer various jobs at federal facilities in the Kansas City area, from janitorial and mailroom services to administrative services and data entry. Contact us for more information.
Job One’s Packaging & Assembly facility provides job opportunities in a safe, sheltered workshop environment. Individuals with disabilities are supported by experienced management teams that continually offer professional training, development, and supervision to help employees thrive and deliver top-quality, competitive production services for their commercial customers.
In April, Job One has a Vegas-style fun event called Cause-ino Night. The evening will feature an appetizer buffet, bar, and entertainment, along with casino games, blackjack, mouse races, and more for a chance to win great prizes!
