Jennifer Dehan
A couple of fun facts, Jennifer Dehan, is an identical twin, and Ewing Kauffman set her up on her first blind date.
A Kansas City native and Kansas State University Graduate, Jennifer Dehan, set off for Dallas and Maryland before returning home to KC to build a corporate branch for a successful national recruiting firm.
Jennifer is a veteran of IT Staffing, working in it since she graduated college. After ten years of working with branch startups and company turnarounds in IT and business consulting, Jennifer was ready to follow her passions.
A chance encounter with an entrepreneurial technologist led to the founding of Velocity Staff, Inc. Today, Jennifer is President, COO, and Owner of Velocity.
Velocity Staff, Inc. is a full-service staffing and consulting organization specializing in the Information Technology, Engineering, and Business Solutions fields. They take the time to develop strong relationships with their clients and our professionals that help them connect the right people to the right job. In addition, they know the market is constantly changing, so Velocity offers flexible options for your personal and professional goals.
In addition to her work as a leader within the Velocity organization, Jennifer, along with her husband and sister, is a founder, board member, and volunteer of Hoops4Hope, a not-for-profit 501c3 charity in conjunction with the American Cancer Society dedicated to making a difference in finding a cure for all cancers.
Hoops 4 Hope generates a broader awareness of cancer’s impact on families. In addition, they believe Hoops 4 Hope is a unique way to bring the community together and participate in an event that is not only fun but a way to dedicate a significant contribution to the ACS and Cancer Action of Kansas City.
The Hoops 4 Hope tournaments are open to 4th-8th grade and high school boys and girls competitive and recreational student-athletes, with 100% of net proceeds going to the American Cancer Society and Cancer Action of Kansas City. Through the generous support of volunteers and donors, we have raised nearly $420,000.00 for these worthy organizations.
She also works with the Natalie M Foundation to support scholarships for college-bound students pursuing STEM disciplines. She also works with the Foundation to encourage and educate young women to celebrate their strengths and capabilities.
Jennifer’s passion and dedication to her craft continue to profoundly affect the people she gets to work with daily, along with her focus on the nonprofit community. She has had a tremendous impact, and I see nothing but big things in the future for Jennifer.
