Brandy McCombs’s dream was always to own her own business. That dream came true in 2009 when she launched IBC.

IBC initially started with commercial carpentry, and when an opportunity presented itself with the KC Streetcar, IBC expanded its offerings. One of those services was traffic controls, which IBC provides 24/7. Their commitment to excellence means they provide qualified, state-of-the-art equipment for the best traffic safety services.

The team works diligently to provide high Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards while completing jobs on time and within budget. In addition, they also focused on Pavement Marking & Removal and Signage.

IBC works with its clients to develop a comprehensive approach to the traffic control solution.  From initial drawings to set up and removal, their project managers work diligently to keep your project running smoothly and on time.

IBC is also committed to our community, working with charities such as Big Brothers Big Sister Kansas City, The Heart of Kansas City, associated with the American Heart Association, and more.

Brandy was also recently named the chair of The Builders, a chapter of the AGC’s Board of Directors, which is the first time in the association’s 136 year-history that a woman is filling the role.
