Lucky 13 Rescue
Founded by Mandy LaVelle, Lucky 13 Rescue is a federal 501(c)3 non-profit rescue based in Drexel, Missouri, in August 2016 and recently moved to the Kansas City, Missouri area.
Lucky 13 Rescue is an organization dedicated to the rescue and aid of homeless and neglected dogs in the Kansas City metro and surrounding rural areas. They do not limit their efforts to a specific breed but instead strive to assist any dog facing neglect, homelessness, abuse, or death.
Their ultimate goal is to rehabilitate each canine in our care through placement in loving foster homes until they can be carefully matched with adoptive families.
They are a foster-based rescue as they do not have a facility to intake dogs on the spot.
All of their rescue dogs are provided with medical attention and behavioral rehabilitation. Finally, they will be adopted into their forever home, spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
They are always looking for fosters and volunteers who love dogs. Lucky 13 Rescue provides the needed supplies to care for your foster pet. They will take care of food, treats, toys, a kennel, a bed, and anything else required. They also pay the vet bills 100% of the time if it is pre-approved by Lucky 13.
Lucky 13 Rescue is always looking for donations, supplies for the dogs, foster parents, and volunteers to help.
