Jenna Scott
Jenna Scott spent the early days of her career working in sports marketing in Springfield while she worked on her MBA at Missouri State University.
She worked with the Springfield Cardinals, Northwestern Mutual, and Missouri State Sports before moving back to KC to intern for the Kansas City Chiefs.
She then shifted into higher education, where she was a Community Relations Manager for Park University before being promoted to Director of Professional Education and Workforce Development.
Jenna spent over five years developing and overseeing strategic business partnerships, workforce development programs, and other professional education opportunities, including coordination, management, and administration of Park University’s professional education program, which includes existing and future credit and noncredit professional development programming.
In October 2022, Jenna became Chief Operating Officer at Catalyst Development, a leadership, coaching, and consulting firm specializing in individuals and organizations for leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and team building.
In her role, she will focus on helping companies get the right people in the correct position and do the right tasks. In addition, she and the team at Catalyst will use their customized training and development to help teams and individuals build the skills all businesses need to be happy, productive, and thriving.
Since moving back to Kansas City, Jenna has been heavily involved in the community, sitting on several boards, including Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City DEI Board and ATD Kansas City. She was also a Big Sister for BBBS during college and was a Most Wanted Honoree in 2019.
Jenna might just be starting at Catalyst Development, but I know she and the team will significantly impact the people and businesses in KC. I look forward to watching and continuing to support her journey as she continues to be a force in our city.
