Klassie Alcine

Klassie Alcine brings a wealth of knowledge from her unique background and experience as a political consultant, crisis management expert, non-profit executive, and successful entrepreneur.

Starting in 2010, Klassie was the Student Body President for the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She then moved on to Synergy Services, where she was a youth advocate.

After leading the political strategy for a 21 million U.S. Senate campaign, Klassie worked with many local nonprofits before joining KC Common Good, including Goodwill of Western Missouri & Eastern Kansas, and Central Exchange.

Today, Klassie is the CEO of KC Common Good, which addresses the root causes of violence to instill hope and ensure a prosperous future for every individual in the greater Kansas City region. Its mission is to create an environment where all citizens can live safely and access real opportunities.

They are conveners and connectors, bringing together the business community, engaged citizens, community resources, and key stakeholders to invest in societal change for our common good.

They’re intermediaries who believe that the power of many creates more change than the power of a few. The organization aims to reduce gun violence by addressing the root causes in partnership with the community.

They have six collaborative programs: Working for Youth, Community Connector, Neighborhoods of Hope, Lansing Correctional Career Campus, KC 360, and Common Good Fund.

Outside of her dedication to KC Common Good, Klassie works with organizations all over the metro to give back, including Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City, UMKC, Madam President Camp, Greenlight Fund, and The Kansas City Beacon.

Her incredible leadership skills and hard work landed her on the Kansas City Business Journal NextGen Leader list in 2020. In addition, this year, IN Kansas City Magazine has recognized her as one of the Influencers of the Year and Best Community Activist. She will also graduate from the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Centurion leadership program in 2023.

Klassie’s performance-driven servant leadership approach has led to some incredible accomplishments in her career, and I know she will continue to be a force here in KC.

I look forward to watching and supporting her journey as she continues to provide exceptional leadership for KC Common Good and serve the community.
