Josh Selig-Votaw

A native of St. Louis and raised by teachers, Josh says critical thinking challenges were the mainstay of his childhood playtime. It might explain how his love of learning, exploring, and uncovering new and creative ways to solve problems has bled into his career.

After graduating from Missouri State University, Josh embarked on a career in marketing and advertising. He has had roles focusing on public relations, social media, and leading client relationships and marketing strategies for multiple advertising companies, including Intouch Solutions.

Josh then joined IFocus Marketing in 2016 as a Director of Account Management, and within two years, he was promoted to COO. iFocus Marketing is a digital marketing agency powered by curiosity and caffeine, fueled by forward-thinking strategies, and primed to turn ideas into action.

Their number one objective is to become a trusted partner in the evolving digital marketing space through strategies that align with the unique business objectives of their clients. Clients come to iFocus for guidance in marketing their products and services, and they activate B2C and B2B marketing strategies in a wide variety of industries, locally and around the globe, including automotive services, multi-family apartment communities, manufacturing, healthcare, home services, finance, legal services, retail, private aviation, education, and more.

Within iFocus, Josh oversees the development and launch of new technologies, client strategy development, operational management, and leading the analytics approaches the team takes. In addition, he continues to directly own and manage relationships with key client stakeholders while being responsible for the growth of agency partner relationships. His leadership and contributions have led the company to multiple awards and growth in the team by 300% since 2020.

It is no surprise, but both iFocus and Josh are heavily involved in giving back to the community, partnering with companies like Mid-America LGBT Chamber of Commerce,  NABCAF- The National Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation, Inc. HappyBottoms, Kansas City's Diaper Bank, reStart, The Kansas City Free Eye Clinic, and Walking and Rollin. Josh also continues to work with local and regional high school and college color guard and dance teams, having led to multiple regional and national recognition and awards, including over 20 national and world championship finalist placements.

Josh’s drive, passion, and a lifelong love of learning have allowed him to accomplish so much to date but knowing him, the best is yet to come, and I look forward to supporting his journey.
