Sisters Christina Gunter and Stephanie lead their fantastic team at Gunter Construction Company which is a full-service General Contractor who builds landmark infrastructure projects throughout Kansas City.

Gunter Construction was established in 1991 and lives by its core values; Family, Integrity, and Performance.

They specialize in General Contracting, Design Build, Self-Perform Concrete and Earthwork.

Their Design Build team takes the project from paper to project completion with an attitude that reflects its collaborative nature to design the infrastructure clients desire.

One of their projects was renovating Martin Luther King, Jr Square Park, backed by the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation. The park was designed to be an all-inclusive destination play site that provides a safe place for kids to play, celebrate Dr. King’s legacy and learn about the Civil Rights history of Kansas City.

Gunter has racked up many awards over the years, including recently being named General Contractor of the Year in 2017 and 2021 by Kansas City American Subcontractors Association.

Gunter also firmly believes in giving back to the community, thus launching the Gunter Construction Company's Charitable Giving Program. Its mission is to support charities that help improve the local community’s quality of life.  Their goals are to provide for those in need and assist those working to better their communities. Some of those charities include Great Plains SPCA, Happybottoms, Harvesters, Hope House, and many more.
