Scott Campbell’s background is based in building... building businesses, teams, partnerships, and spreadsheets. He’s fortunate to have accrued an extensive & unique professional experience at an early age and has worked tirelessly to build upon the opportunities offered.

In 2021, Scott co-founded ^exponent I/O, a data-driven career-building platform for finance & accounting professionals. Their mission is to help finance & accounting professionals make data-driven career decisions by arming them with analytics, authentic context, and transparency.

Exponent I/O also leverages tech & data to automate the recruiting & search process for sponsors & sponsor-owned companies. Several talented professionals lead the company from public accounting and PE backgrounds.

They have worked with companies like York IE, LaborChart, a Procore Company, Novel Capital, Lockton Companies, and Lago Ventures.

Additionally, Scott launched Smash My Trash Kansas City (SMT) in 2020 as a by-product of search fund efforts. The management team pursues its growth goals to help the franchise renovate an outdated industry.

The company provides mobile waste compaction services to manufacturing, distribution, and other commercial businesses. SMT delivers value to customers through direct improvements to waste-hauling costs, operational efficiencies & environmental impact (CO2 footprint reduction).

Additionally, Scott serves on the board for Growing Futures Early Education Center, a wonderful organization providing early education & family support services to children that deserve our attention.
