Cafe Sofrito

Brought to you by owner Jasmine Thompson, Cafe Sofrito is here to bring South American cuisine's amazing flavors to Kansas City's doorstep.

They want to share their lively atmosphere, great flavors, and bright feel with the community and bring new experiences and healthy dishes to everyone.

Sofrito is a Caribbean term for a mix of herbs with onions, garlic, and sweet pepper and is often used in a juicy pork sandwich with fried potato thins and mayonnaise and served on special holidays.

Café Sofrito boasts dishes like beef or chicken arepas, fried plantains, tasty salads, and much more.

Café Sofrito, located at 3731 Main St in KCMO, opened in August 2022 and is open 11 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday.
