Dontavious Young founded the Big Ideas Foundation (Non Profit) (BIF) to empower young people in underserved communities to become leaders and change-makers through innovative educational programs and community engagement.

In a world transformed by the COVID pandemic and social awakening, the Big Ideas Foundation offers a unique approach. They combine scholarships, entrepreneurial education, experiential learning, community engagement, mentorship, and a strong sense of ownership.

BIF aims to empower underserved students with community engagement, entrepreneurial skills, tangible experiences, and learning the importance of mentorship.

Their program's core goal is to nurture community leadership. They teach vital entrepreneurial skills, including Business Management, Marketing, and Economics, focusing on the sustainable success of coffee while also allowing students to explore other industries to which these skills can be applied.

The curriculum that Dontavious Young has developed will one day help change the entire public school system in America. By providing opportunities to public school students, they bridge the equity gap and increase their chances of attending college or starting businesses.
