Andrew Eanes

Andrew Eanes is part of a barbeque team that won first place in the sausage category at the Great Lenexa Barbeque Battle. While Drew is not a professional barbequing, he has many other talents that he uses to make this city a better place.

Drew grew up in KC before attending Drake University, where he ran track.
Drew interned at Chevron during college and began his career there after graduation.

After spending over five years with Chevron, he continued to build an impressive career in business development with several companies before he landed his current job as Senior Client Solutions Manager at JE Dunn Construction. During this period, he also earned an MBA from Baker University.

Drew leads the company’s efforts with corporate, public, private, and non-profit clients in his current role. He works closely with JE Dunn’s operations executives, leading the team to generate a comprehensive message and win strategy for each client’s unique project.

He is also responsible for external new and existing partnerships across Kansas City, including the architecture, design, real estate, civic, and art and culture communities.

His work at JE Dunn is only the beginning; he also Co-Founded The Hadley Project in 2020. The Hadley Project is a six-million-dollar independent fund focused on racial, social, and environmental equity. It started with a generous grant from the Sunderland Foundation, and from there, they have created an independent board, initiatives, and model to shake up philanthropy here in Kansas City and provide solutions that have yet to be done. They just transitioned and were refunded at the 50 million dollar level.

Andrew's leadership extends beyond his professional role. He is a co-founder of the LaunchKC Social Venture Studio, Chair of the Board at the Kansas City Kansas Chamber of Commerce, Midwest chair for JE Dunn’s BUiLD (Blacks United in Learning and Development) group, a Centurions Leadership Program Graduate in 2020 (also named Centurion of the Year), co-founder of the KC Peoples Fund, and KC Chamber Foundation Board Member. His ability to excel in diverse roles is a testament to his versatility and dedication.

No surprise, but Drew has won numerous awards during his impressive career, including City Year Idealist of the Year, Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Ace Award Recipient, Kansas City Business Journal 20 to Know in Kansas City Construction and Kansas City Business Journal 2023 NextGen Leader.

Drew has already made such an impact within the KC community that I cannot wait to see what he does next and support his vision for the future.
