In 2021, Learie Hercules brought his expertise to Kansas City, assuming the pivotal role of CTO at Smart Warehousing. His mission: to elevate the company’s technology through the power of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
He is now the founder of Heft IQ, an AI-driven advanced analytics platform that delivers real-time insights to e-commerce brands. As the founder, Learie leverages his deep expertise in cutting-edge domains like Generative AI to create innovative solutions that drive double-digit growth, streamline processes, and enhance customer experience.
Heft IQ is an AI-driven advanced Analytics Platform positioned as the Operating System (OS) for Supply Chain & Logistics.
Heft IQ builds on years of leading-edge digital warehouse and fulfillment operations knowledge to provide an intuitive and modern interface driven by Generative AI that analyzes performance, diagnoses bottlenecks and failure points in real-time, and recommends actions based on forecasting out-of-the-box.
In addition to running Heft IQ, he is an Advisory Board Member at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Bloch School of Business.
He ensures the UMKC program stays on the cutting edge and is world-class at producing graduates who can meaningfully contribute from Day One using Deep Tech.
He is also a mentor for Techstars and an Advisory Board Member for the Southern Data Science Conference.
The Kansas City Business Journal named him one of Twenty to Know in technology in 2023. He is also part of the current LaunchKC cohort, which was selected in late 2023.
