Girls on the Run of Greater KC

Girls on the Run of Greater Kansas City’s mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experienced-based curriculum that creatively integrates running. They work hard to inspire ALL girls to build confidence and make intentional decisions while fostering care and compassion for themselves and others.

Their trained coaches use physical activity and dynamic discussions to build every girl's social, emotional, and physical skills while encouraging healthy life habits. GOTRKC serves thousands of girls in and around the KC area ages 8-13 years old and is in over 170 schools and community centers in 18 counties around the metro.

The program is broken into two different age groups. One is for girls from 3rd to 5th grade, and the other is for 6th through 8th-grade girls.

On October 6th, GOTRKC is hosting its annual fundraiser, Every Girl Evening, in Lemonade Park in the Historic West Bottoms, from 6-9 pm. You can enjoy food by Voltaire, BETTY RAE'S ICE CREAM LLC truck, and entertainment by The Swallowtails and Katy Guillen & The Drive! They will also have raffle prizes, a silent auction, and yard games.
