Dan Huerter
A Kansas City native and a University of Kansas Graduate, maybe it was always destiny that Dan Huerter would return to the city he grew up in to run a business, but more on that in a second.
After college, Dan worked with a Fortune 500 software company, working with clients like SMU, Cal Poly, and the United States Senate.
In the winter of 2015, Dan leaped into the booming cannabis industry and joined a Colorado-based CBD company, Pure Spectrum, as COO. During his initial tenure with Pure Spectrum, Dan was the first to speak about the benefits of CBD for athletes on national television, highlighting the company’s partnership with The CrossFit Games on CBS Sports in 2018.
In 2019, Dan co-founded a hemp distribution company and ran their operations for three years before returning to Pure Spectrum as their CEO in the fall of 2021.
